Kenya Hayes Obituary

HAYES Kenya "Queen" Cecilia Hayes, a student at Westbank Community School, departed this life on Thursday, March 27, 2008 due to an automobile accident in New Orleans. Daughter of Ruby Hayes Dorsey and Nathan Bailey. Sister of Myron, Jermaine, Yada, and Pia Dorsey, Nathan, Jr. and Natarie Bailey. Granddaughter of Olivia Bailey and the late Odeal Cecilia Hayes, Phillip Hayes, Jr., and Herman Bailey. Sister in law of Calvin Brown and Nathan Craft. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age 15 years, a native of Gretna, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion B.C., Good Hope B.C., and neighboring churches; faculty and staff of Westbank Community School, Good Works Industry, and Naval Air Station Belle Chasse, La. are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Zion Baptist Church, 6520 Second Zion Ave., Marrero, La., on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 10:00a.m. Rev. James Nelson Brown, officiating. Visitation will be held from 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Christian Social Cemetery-Gretna, La. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La.
