Larry Bauscher Obituary

Larry H. Bauscher, 57, a resident of Gooding, Idaho died on Wed., June 21, 2006 at the Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, Idaho. Larry was born on Aug. 6, 1949. He was the oldest son of Marjorie and Allen Bauscher. He was raised on the family ranch in Fairfield, Idaho. He graduated from Camas County High School in 1967. He went on to attend and graduate with a degree in business from Boise State University in 1971. After working in Boise for a few years he returned to Fairfield to the ranching lifestyle he loved. He was an excellent horseman and loved to hunt big game. In 2003 he was lucky enough to draw a moose tag and once again he showed his prowess as a hunter. Larry and his children have enjoyed many successful hunts. In recent years he developed a passion for golf. Although a competitor, his favorite game of golf was when his son, Mike seeked out his first victory in a seriously contested father/son golf match. Larry was married to Patty Davis of Filer and they had two children, Christie and Mike. Christie followed in her fathers footsteps and is attending Boise State University. Larry was only moderately affected when Mike chose to become a Vandal and attend the University of Idaho. Larry was a good man and a loving father. His good nature and kind heart will be sorely missed. He is survived by his daughter, Christie and his son Mike and his parents, Marjorie & Allen Bauscher of Boise, his brother Randy from Rupert and his sister, Paula Bauscher Forney of Boise. Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding with Rev. Andy Morris officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Demaray Funeral Service in Gooding.
