Larry Williams

Larry Edward Williams entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the age of 65 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Sunflower, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA. Larry was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School and served his country in the United States Army and Army Reserve. He was employed as an orderly with several area hospitals. Beloved husband of Carol Pate Williams. Loving father of Larry (Tonia) Williams, Jr., Desmond Williams, Krishaun Williams, Tressi Williams, Cynesia Williams (Justin) Johnson, and Mychal Alexander. Grandfather of Jasmine, Jaylynn, Justin, Matthew, Krystal, My'chal, Kai, Mychal, Jr., Dynver, Davion, Lyric, Myranda, and Rashaad. Son of the late Mattie Brown Brewer, Edward and Essie Winters Williams. Brother of Madeline Johnson, Sir Finis Brewer, Don Brewer, Vincent Brewer, Keith Brewer, Kevin Brewer, Ryan Brewer, Darrin Brewer, Mildred (Gregory) Glapion, Cyntrella Brewer, Lyntrella Anderson, Vyntrella Menzies, and the late Maeola Jones, Finis Williams, Sr., Thornton Brown, Matthew Brown, and Marvin Brewer. Father in law of the late Dominique Williams. Godbrother of Cynthia Butler (Ronnie) McIntyre. Best friend of Coach Ray and Irvin Stewart, Sr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Olive Branch Baptist Church, Harvest Ripe Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of life at Olive Branch Baptist Church, 1134 Odeon St., New Orleans, LA on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Reginald Nicholas Host Pastor - Pastor Jesse Pate officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the above-named church.
