Latanya Marie Johnson-Barnes

Latanya Marie Johnson-Barnes was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday January 9th, 2018. She was the beloved daughter of the late Carolyn A. Johnson, and granddaughter of the late Earline and James Johnson and Thomas Rivers, and daughter-in-law of Ethel Davis. Latanya leaves behind her loving husband William Barnes III, and their children: William and Domonique Johnson, Deidra Joseph, and Whitney Canty; Goddaughter Jasmine Foster; and grandchildren: William Canty and Azhja Sterling. She also precedes her siblings Edmond Wallace, Paquita Duncan, Carl, Angelina, and Linda Barnes. Also left to cherish her memories are aunts and uncles: Ralph, Robert, Tommy Johnson, James Brown, Frances Johnson Brown, Joan Parker, Lilian, Iona, Mamie, Lashawn, and Ignes Johnson; devoted friends: Doris Franklin, Jon Foster, Elain Hankton, and Kizzie Youngblood. The family would like to invite employees of Marriott International Hotel to attend funeral services on Saturday 1/27/2018. There will be a 10 am service preceded by an 8 am visitation.
