Lauraanna Bynum Obituary

BYNUM Lauraanna G. Bynum, retired retail manager, died Tuesday, December 18th, of cancer at her home in Mandeville. She was 64 years young. Mrs. Bynum was born in New Orleans, LA on March 30, 1943 and lived in Mandeville, LA for over 30 years. She graduated from George Washington Carver High School. She was a member of Hartzell Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Slidell, LA, where she faithfully served as Communion Steward and volunteered her time to many outreach programs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Bynum, Sr, her mother, Hannah C. Gray, father, Herman Gray, Sr., one brother, Richard Gray, and a great grandson, Kristopher. Survivors include 7 daughters, Cheryl Robinson, Paulette Carlton, Erica Ise, Natalie Sullivan, Taryn Jones, Kimberly Bynum, and Ana Bynum; 2 sons, Bernard Bynum, IV and Forest Bynum; 2 sisters, Urna Gray, and Greer Rolland; 2 brothers, Herman Gray, Jr., and Randolph Gray. She is also survived by 11 Grandkids, Brittannyy, Sarah, Kevin, Veronica, Ashley, Elise, Darren, Bailey, Anthony, Sasha, and Sadah; and 1 Great Granddaughter, Tatiana. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, family, and loved ones. Relatives and friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral. Religious Services will be held in the Chapel of Bagnell and Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA, on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Mandeville City Cemetery. Visitation after 9:30 A.M. Friday. Lauraanna G. Bynum, who gave greatly to her family and friends, was well-loved by many and will be missed but never forgotten.
