Lawrence Joseph ""Fuzzy'' Knight, Sr. on Thursday, August 11, 2005. Beloved husband of Joyce Mahler Knight. Father of Phyllis K. Fayland, Kristina K. Schmauss, Tina K, Bonner, Tracy Knight, Lawrence J. Knight, Jr., Terry P. Knight and Wayne J. Knight. Son of the late Ella Knight Knight and Ernest C. Knight. Brother of Weda K. Prejeant, Earjie and Ernest Knight. Survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Age 77 years, a native of Raceland, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees and retirees of the former Avondale Shipyard, Jefferson Parish School System and members of Live Oak Vol. Fire Department are invited to attend funeral services from MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10:30 A.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church for 11:00 A.M. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. Parlors will be open Friday from 6:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. and Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Information 366-4343
