ALEXANDER Leola Alexander at the age of 70 departed this life on Wednesday May 15, 2013 at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA. A native of St. John, Louisiana and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Daughter of the late Sylvia and Walter Alexander. She leaves to cherish her memories her children Cindy, Valerie, John, Frederick Alexander, Madeline and Mathew Polly. Beloved sister of Diane Toles, Bevelana Smith, Calynn Bunts, Joseph, John and Ernest Alexander. Survived by 28 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Alexander, two sisters Geraldine Coleman and Doloris Johnson and one brother Larry Alexander. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Realtives and friends, Pastor, Officers and members of Household of Faith are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on May 25, 2013 at Household of Faith 630 Jackson Ave., NOLA at 10:00 AM. Visitation begins at 9:00 AM until time of service. Pastor Antoine Barriere will officiate. Internment Providence Memorial Park.
