Leonard Lozano Obituary

LOZANO Leonard A. Lozano, 90, died on the afternoon of January 31, 2007. Son of his late parents, Antonio Lozano and Maria Lozano de la Garza, he is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Audrey Reno Lozano, and his brother, Alfred Lozano. He was a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School and Tulane University. In 1940 he enlisted in the U.S. Regulary Army Air Corps. He served as a Master Sergeant, and was awarded the Legion of Merit Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 5 bronze stars, the American Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was employed by Neptune Supplies, Inc. for 38 years, where he met his wife, Audrey. He was a parishioner of St. James Major Catholic Church for 50 years. Private burial services were handled by Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
