Leslie LaBruzza Obituary

Leslie Ann LaBruzza was a caring wife, mother, daughter and sister. She left this world suddenly on March 19, 2022. She was born to Luke LaBruzza Jr. and the late Deborah LaBruzza on May 17, 1975. A Gretna native but most recently resided in Belle Chasse. Leslie is survived by her husband, Jimmy R. Wallace Jr., son, Vincente Salvadore Gai, stepdaughter, Destiny Boyte (Joe), father, Luke Labruzza Jr. (Angie), grandmother, Lois LaBruzza and siblings, Salvadore LaBruzza (Missy), Brad LaBruzza (Autumn), Luke LaBruzza III, Brittany Adams (Shaun) and Christian Fortino along with numerous cousins and other family. Leslie was preceded in death by her mother, Debbie LaBruzza, grandfather Luke LaBruzza, Sr. and grandmother, Emelda Guidry Hensley. Leslie was a graduate of the Aveda Institute of New Orleans, where she followed her dream of becoming an esthetician. Upon graduation, Leslie worked for Bombshell Waxing in Metairie before finding a position as lead esthetician at Esthetique Facial Spa where she met some wonderful people who were not only her employers and mentors but also some of her closest friends. Most recently, Leslie followed her ultimate dream and opened Wax Therapy Spa in Gretna. This was when she realized……Dreams do come true! Leslie was the kindest most loving person anyone could ever meet. She never met a stranger. To know her was to love her. She had a way of just making the world a little brighter for everyone she came in contact with. Leslie loved wholeheartedly and was the most genuine, loyal friend anyone could hope for. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1 pm. I don´t even know where to begin. My heart is broken loosing you, thinking about Jimmy and Vinnie living without you. These past few months catching up and actually hanging out was something I will never forget. It´s definitely too soon but I know you are smiling with your Momma! I love you Leslie and I will always cherish our friendship.

Leslie was sweet, funny, charming, smart, delightful. More than that she was the most devoted mom to her beloved son. I send my heartfelt sympathy upon your loss of this lovely young woman.

This is so unbelievable. You we´re one of the most loving person I knew. I loved our talks about God and learning more about the Bible. You will be missed my friend. I love you. Until we meet again keep dancing on golden streets with Jesus, your mom and paw paw. You are his sunshine.
