Jill, Jackie, and Remy,
I am so happy to have known your dad. I'll always remember him as the happy and fun loving person that he was. He had a remarkable life, especially because of you and your loving family, and the wonderful care which you all provided. I know you will miss him, but will have a lifetime of memories to cherish.
Love, your longtime friend, and old back door neighbor, Bonnie

Mr. Ramel was a very unique individual. We will never forget our time together, especially the joy he brought to all of us during his visits. We will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.

Dear Remy, Jackie and Jill:
I have many wonderful memories of your parents! They were so much fun and good friends to my parents, who lived right down the street on Argonne. After my father died in 1990, they thoughtfully and often asked my mother to accompany them to Metairie Country Club for dinner. In fact, the last time she went with them was the day before she had her fatal stroke. She kept saying to me: "They are so good to me. I had such a wonderful time."
The first time I met your parents was when they drove me to St. Paul's to visit Remy. I think I was 15. I was in awe of them. They were so sophisticated in my mind, yet so kind to me. Their love for each other was the thing that never faded.
They are together again.
I am sorry I will be unable to attend the Mass at St. Pius. I will be with you in spirit and in prayer.
Love,
Judy

Remy,
So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He enjoyed a good and long life and I am sure left you with a lot of precious memories. I will always remember him speeding down the alley blasting that OOGA HORN as he came home.
I will forever remember the good times I had with you and your family when you and I were kids.

Jill,
It has been such a long time since we have seen each other but were just talking about you and your family this week at a family gathering. We lived behind your family home in Lakeview on Canal Blvd. I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing but it appears he had a long life of 94 years with family around him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We're living in Baton Rouge but think of Lakeview and the way it used to be.

I know your father from attending mass at Nouveau Marc on Saturday mornings. Someone told me your dad passed away. I am very sorry for your loss. Your Dad was a very nice man and he will be missed. I showed his picture to Father Miguel and we remembered your Dad in Saturday's Mass. I know it is a difficult time for all of you but I'm sure he led a good life since he was such a fine man.

I am very sorry to hear about your father. I always enjoyed seeing him because he was upbeat, usually had a smile and said hello when he would see you. I know you will miss him. Connie and I will remember him in our prayers. We are out of town and don't return until the 14th. Please let Jackie know that we are thinking of you and your family.
