Sister Barbre, who was two of my daughers' Sunday School teacher at St. Paul Baptist Church, and later as a member at Sixth Baptist will be greatly missed. That smile of hers made you feel that you were important to her. May God be with you and your family.

Charles, Paula and family,
I could say so much about Mrs. Lillie, but it would take pages. I will just say that Mrs. Lillie had one of the biggest hearts of any person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Of course, she loved all of you and she was so very proud of each one of you. But, her heart was also big enough to embrace nearly everyone she knew. “Everyone” was a friend for whom she genuinely cared. And, because of her big heart, the love and affection for her was returned. She has gone Home now, after living a life that was as full as she could possibly make it. I hope that realization will bring some solace to all of you at this time. My sisters, Julia & Joyce, and I simply adored Mrs. Lillie, as did our mother. May God bless you and comfort you.

GOD's finger touched Ms. Lillie and she slept. She is now sleeping in the bosom of JESUS. Ms. Lillie was a dear friend of the late Mary Guillory of Melville, La. Ms. Lillie was a nice and sweet lady to the Guillory family, but now she has gone to her Heavenly Home to rest.

Our hearts are saddened in the loss of Mrs. Barbre. She and our grandmother, Laura Barnes, were as family. Mrs. Barbre was embraced by our family and we loved her as much as she loved us. We, as you, have great memories that we will cherish. May your memories bring you comfort.
