I am so saddened by the loss of Uncle Lloyd. It is so difficult to lose someone that is so close to you. I find myself crying at his loss, but smiling at all the wonderful memories of the time spent with him. I will miss his " Uh-Uup" at the gate as I drive up to the house this summer. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

It saddens me to hear of Mr. Lloyd's passing. For the past two years the names of Heitmeier and Whittenburg have appeared far too frequently in the obituary section of the paper. In mourning the loss of the person we loved, we are also mourning the loss of a significant part of Algiers history. My prayers are with you.
