Lois Jenkins Obituary

Jenkins, Lois Virginia Seale Lois Virginia Seale Jenkins, formally of Slidell, Louisiana, went home to her heavenly Father on May l4, 2015. She had been living in Brooksville, Florida for the past four years in.the care of her brother and sister-in-law, Virginia, as she was known, was born Apri1 30, 1932, in Eden, Alabama, the fifth child of Columbus Whittie and Eliza Drusilla Graham Seale. She was pre-deceased by her parents, four brothers, William C, Jack D, James E and Alfred L and one sister, Dorothy J Matharan and her husband Bob Matharan, a sister-in-law Kathryn Seale and a brother-in-law Tyner Jensen. She is survived by a sister, Pauline Jensen of San Diego, CA, a brother, Carl B Seale of Brooksville, FL, two sisters-in-law, Jean Seale of Colorado Springs, CO, Suzanne Seale of Brooksville, FL and seventeen nieces and nephews. Virginia worked for the South Central. Bell Telephone Company and retired sometime after it became AT&T. She was a volunteer at the Slidell Memorial Hospital for several years. Virginia was very involved in the Order of the Eastern Star beginning in 1980 and she became Worthy Grand Matron for the state of Louisiana in the year 2001-2002. She was a member of Lakeshore #59 in Slidell, William D White #141 in Gretna and Pearl River #237 in Pearl River. Virginia's ashes have been interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell.
