Lorraine Marie Houston transitioned on January 22, 2022. Lorraine, born January 9, 1996, was the daughter of Lawrence Norman Washington Jr. and Gina Houston Washington. She was the mother of 2 children, Derrick Brown and Katana A. Crittindon and the sister of Jamessia Dillon and Lawrence Alexander. She was the granddaughter of Idella Washington and Lawrence (deceased) Washington, and the late Rosemary and Mose Houston and the late Missle Frazier Houston, and aunts, the late Faye Houston Cooper and the late Shirley Hawkins. Lorraine graduated from L.W. Higgins High School and was attending Delgado Westbank Campus. She leaves to mourn her Mother Gina, her father Lawrence Jr., her children Derrick and Katana: her sister, Jamessia Dillion, her brother, Lawrence Alexander, her Godmother Debra Thompson, her Godfather Calven Houston, one Godchild Travis Taylor, her good friend Parys Washington, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at Greater Zionfield Family Worship Center, 636 11th Street, Westwego, LA on Monday, January 31, 2021 at 10:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with Pastor Dr. Samuel Travis, Jr., officiating. Interment: Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Arrangements by D.W.
