Sending prayers of comfort to the Ladieu family in the loss of your precious mother.

Growing up in Illinois, it was always a real treat when Aunt Lorraine and Uncle Bob visited. I would tease her to no end about her nervousness when we were under a tornado watch. She always teased me as an adult about my saying, "Let's go goof off on Bourbon Street" when I was younger. I will miss her terribly and was blessed to see her last year in New Orleans.

Aunt Naney always wanted to know what I was doing with my life and where I was living. We always went to lunch or dinner when I came in to New Orleans to visit. She was kind and caring and ready to laugh. I have good memories of her and feel honored to be in her family.

I will miss Aunt Nanie. She was always ready to join with family and have a good time. I know she is enjoying being reunited with Alvin and Lorraine.

I will be forever thankful to have her as my sweet, caring, spirited mother. I look forward to seeing her again with Jesus. Among so many things, she left an example of kindness to others and boldness to live life fearlessly. Love you, Mama.
