Lorraine Omner Obituary

OMNER Lorraine Naquin Omner entered into eternal rest on May 26, 2008 at the age of 86. A resident of Metairie, Louisiana. Loving wife of the late Anthony Omner. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rosemary Naquin, her sister Rosemary Cambre, and daughter Sandra Omner. Beloved mother of Toni and Pat Murphy, Adrienne and Milton Steen, Suzette and Rudy Herpich and Joseph and Fran Omner. Mrs. Lorraine is also survived by her pride and joy, nine grandchildren, Amy Omner, Colby Omner, Mallory Omner, Darby Murphy, Erin Murphy DiZinno and Eric DiZinno, Amanda Steen, Kimberly Steen, Dr. Byron Herpich and Andrew Herpich. Leaving behind, two loving sisters and a brother, Jayee Carson, Therese Durel and Joseph Naquin, a sister-in-law Evelyn Omner and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Omner was a former parishioner of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and more recently a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, and retired from Harrys Ace Hardware after over 30 years of service. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 West Metairie Ave., Metairie, Louisiana, on Friday morning, May 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery #1. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. WE LOVE YOU GRANNY! Donations may be made to The American Lung Association, 2325 Severn Ave., Suite#8, Metairie, Louisiana 70001. Online guest book available at www.legacy.com. Uncle Miltie, Aunt Adie, Amanda and Kimmy,
