For-ever in My Heart!
Daughter
December 23, 2024
It´s another year mom and you are soooooo missed! I truly wish you were here to enjoy your beautiful granddaughters and now grandson! Trust me, I talk to them about you all the time. Your picture is displayed in your favorite spot in my house....the kitchen where the food you cooked was done with so much love. Life for me has changed so much in so many ways ...people fell off and life is just different. Really wish you were here to talk to about it all. Love you forever!!!

Mom, 14 years ago today you departed this life to your eternal home. Nevertheless, every day I still miss you so much! Today is especially hard because my heart is heavy with life problems and decisions I need to make and not having you here to hear my heart and give that motherly love and support hits herder!
I will never question why God took you so soon but it don´t stop me from wishing you was here with me now. I LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH. Just to see your smile or hear your voice would be such a great comfort.

It´s been 12 years now, and it seems like it just happened yesterday! Mom I miss EVERYTHING about you. But what I really miss most is hearing your voice, sweet kiss and big hugs. I wish you was hear to nurture your 3 beautiful great granddaughters. I will teach them every valuable lesson you taught me. I tell them all about you and they see your picture all the time that hangs in my kitchen...your favorite place to be. My only disappointment is that I assumed that we had more time, time for me to gather the skill and gift of cooking like you...some great food on this side of heaven. Rest well Mom...you will always be in my and thoughts.

I could leave a quote or some line to say how I feel right now. Although I have written many things, as a writer, it has taken me sometime to come to be able to express my feelings about my Aunt Lottie.
When someone who means so much to you dies, you actually feel like the world should stop and pause. You are wondering why, as your riding in the procession, every store is still open and why people are still on the road..Don't they know? Did'nt they all know who Aunt Lottie was? You feel like the world should stop and pay respects to this queen. You ask why is the sun out even? Then you realize that its you..You have this larger than life view of her because she was larger than life.I understand that I am in no posistion to question God's business- she would tell me that most likely.I know now that my Aunt Lottie did'nt need the accolades or public displays. She was gentle and knew who she was and taught me to be who I am. I know that this was her most important lesson.. for us to be good people-self assured and strong. Always the teacher she modeled this everyday. I know that I can live with the hurt and pain and the many ways her loss has affected me. Since they say crying is ok because water is cleansing then I am constantly being renewed. What I could'nt live with is if I was not the person who she raised and that person is alive inside of me because of my Aunt Lottle's guidance and wisdom. What a gift!!
May God Bless Everyone

I loved my Aunt Lottie. She was an example of what angel on earth was. She did so much for my sister and me when we were growing up, and always lended a listening ear and encouraging advice now that we have become adults. I thank God for allowing her in my life for 30 years. She was like a second mother to me. If I could be half the woman she was, then to me I would be phenomenal. She set the stage for so many. She exuded grace, humility and gentleness. She embodied all the virtues of a virtuous woman. She was loving and kind to all those who came into her presence. She was an example to her church family and all who met her as a woman who was a true Christian. She also set a wonderful example of a wife, mother, aunt and friend. I know that she is an angel in heaven watching over us. I thank God for the opportunity to have been so close to her in this lifetime.

To every follower of the Lord there comes a time when the voice of God will say,
"Welcome Home"
The sound of "welcome home" is something that every traveler longs to hear. It means that you are in a place where you are fully embraced, welcomed, appreciated, and enjoyed. Most of all it means you're in the presence of those who love you.
There is special comfort in knowing that the words "welcome home" have been heard in heaven, as the beautiful memories of your loved one's life remain here in our hearts.

I believe the Lord's awesome power connects His children's hearts and souls. I believe that all He asks is that we share the love and keep the faith. I believe that we're one big family, all in this together, and no matter what we're facing, the Lord will see us through.

A Mother's Love Is Forever..
As children,
we can't comprehend
or fully realize
The meaning of our mother's love,
how tender and how wise,
The paitence and forgiveness
that are part of every day,
The unexpected 'little things'
she does in her own way.
Years go by before we can
look back on life and see
Through older eyes and wiser hearts
her love and loyalty,
And yet it's these and other special things
we'll hold so dear,
For memories of her steadfast love
will keep her ever near.
May your memories of your mother's love bring you comfort and peace of heart, now and through the days ahead.
In Deepest Sympathy with love and heartfelt thoughts...

Shannon,
Why? That's what we ask. The truth is, we may never be able to know for sure why. But we do know that there is no single "should have done" or "could have done" or "did" or "didn't do" that would have changed that why. All that love could do was done.

I hope that everyone is doing as well as to be expected. I looked and looked for cards, but none seem to say what I wanted to say. Which is simply thank you. You have proven to be a good friend in words and deeds. The most friendly deed you have done for me is allowing me to share Ms. Lottie. You shared her not only with me, but with countless others. Ms. Lottie's compassion and willingness to share and help others will be unmatched for years. She was special! If love from friends and familys could have kept her around, she would have been around forever.
