Louis William Ricaud Jr.

Louis William Ricaud, Jr., age 77, passed away on March 6, 2022. A native of New Orleans, LA, Louie spent the last 27 years of his life in Peachtree Corners, GA. Preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Louis (Brue) Ricaud and brother Robert (Bobby). Survived by his children Charlotte, MaryElizabeth Cambre (John David), and Robert (Renee); grandchildren Jack, Isabelle, and Sydneigh Cambre; sister Suzette Blackwell (Michael); adopted son Gary Stelzel (Maureen (Mo)), and both of his ex-wives Donna Ricaud and Lana Rohal. A proud graduate of St Rose de Lima grammar school, St. Aloysius, and Tulane University. He served in the US Navy in the 60's. Retired from AT&T after spending his career with the family of Bell South companies. His life was never about the work for him-it was about the people. He had fond memories of growing up in New Orleans with cousins who were brothers and sisters to him. He enjoyed reminiscing about his time spent in Puerto Rico as well as the endless good times spent on his boat with his father on Lake Pontchartrain. Most recently, he enjoyed spending time with his neighborhood family in Peachtree Station and cheering for the Saints (and the Packers when they weren't on opposing sides of the ball). He is loved and his happy spirit will be missed by everyone that knew him. He will be laid to rest with his parents and brother at Garden of Memories in Metairie; no service will be held.
