Louis Smith Sr.

Louis Smith Sr., age 65, was called home to glory on Friday, November 20, 2015. Without hesitation, Louis submitted to God's ultimate and divine will for his life and stepped beyond the veil to enter into his eternal rest. He was born on February 5, 1950 in New Orleans, La to the late Elijah Sr. and Ollie M. Smith. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Sr. and Ollie M. Smith; brothers, Willie and George Smith; sister, Lorraine Smith and grandson, Joel "JoJo" Smith Jr. Louis leaves precious memories to be cherished by his beloved wife of 44 years, Christina M. Alexis Smith; daughter, Tina Smith-Clark (Brad); sons, Louis Q. Smith (Amanda), and Jo-el A. Smith(Jaune); brothers, Elija Jr., Frank and Ronald Smith; sisters, Irene Polly, Elnora Smith, Susan Webb, Loretta M. Smith(Travis), and Hilda S. Livious(Cleveland); grandchildren, Jade and Christopher Smith-Clark, Jamond Bourgeois-Smith, Abigail Smith, and Jayla Smith, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, are all invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, December 3, 2015, 10:30AM, at Professional Funeral Services, 1449 N. Claiborne Ave., NOLA. Visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the hour of service. Interment Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery.
