Louise Marie Witson Johnson was born on December 5, 1936. She passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at the age of 87. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and was a retired teacher's aide of the Orleans Parish School System. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted sons: Michael L. Johnson (Lora), Daryl A. Johnson Sr., and Tyrone P. Johnson (Toya). Grandmother of Jalen I. Johnson, Alyssa E. Johnson, and Daryl A. Johnson, Jr., great grandmother of Kenna Johnson, Khalee Johnson, Khalil Johnson, and Kali Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Johnson, her parents Howard and Rosa Witson, brothers and sister, Charles Witson, Howard Witson, Jr., and Adeline Witson Lemon. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Monday, January 8, 2024, at St. Gabriel The Archangel Church, 4700 Pineda St., New Orleans, LA 70126. Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Father Victor Cohea, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.
