Louise Lewis Obituary

Louise Anita Lewis entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the age of 79 in Jefferson, Louisiana. Louise was a brave, strong, and resilient woman. She is survived by her children Donald and Tia Lewis, Sabrina Robinson, Norelle Matthews, and Rikkal Washington. Louise's legacy is carried on through a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is survived by her siblings Charles Sr, Joyce, Dianne, Terry Sr., Cherry, Ronald, and Toye. Louise was preceded in death by her parents Louise and Melvin Gerdes, love of her life Carl Ross, her brother Melvin Lewis, and grandson Terry Lewis Sr.. The family invites all who knew Louise to come celebrate her life on July 12, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 1625 Annette Street, New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation begins and 9 a.m. service to follow at 10 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Funeral Directors, 4101 St. Claude Ave., New Orleans, LA, 70117. Repast at St. Paul Fellowship Center next to church.
