Lucia Bernard Obituary

BERNARD Lucia "Tutsie" Allo Bernard, born December 3, 1922, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 17, 2009. Survived by her husband of 48 years, Ernest "Black" Bernard and her six children: Beth (Pete) Cuadrado with Ernest Bernard; John (Stella) Banquer, Pam (Carl) Giampietro, Cheryl (Tony) Muscarello, Merryl (Gerald) Bayer and Paul (Lucy) Banquer with her late husband, Sherrill Banquer; and 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Genevieve and Thomas Allo. Sister of Joyce Rodrigue, Mary Ann Orgeron and the late Murphy (Buddy) Allo, Annabelle (Dolly) Usey and John Allo. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lucia was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA for the past 38 years. She worked as a Teacher's Assistant with the Jefferson Parish School System. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA, on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 11AM. Interment in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Visitation on Tuesday from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral information: 366-4343
