Lucille Marguerite Estopinal Cousin

COUSIN Lucille Marguerite Estopinal Cousin died in Friendswood, Texas on November 9, 2009 at age 96. Lucille was born in St. Bernard, LA on February 22, 1913, the last of 7 children. She moved to Friendswood following Hurricane Katrina after being a lifelong resident of St. Bernard parish. Lucille was a loving and nurturing mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and loyal friend. She is survived by two sons, Jules J. Cousin, Sr. and wife Emma Miller Cousin of Plaquemines parish and A.J. Cousin and his late companion of 26 years, Keith Babin of Arabi, LA, grandson, Jules J. Cousin, Jr. of Hattisburg, MS, granddaughters, Jolie Ann Everhardt of Violet, LA, Andree Marie Agnelly of Mandeville, LA and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules Estopinal and Alice Esteve, husband Albert Anthony Cousin, brothers George Henry, Walter, Leon and Albert Estopinal, sisters Eleanor Parker and Louise Dragon. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a funeral mass for Lucille at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Church, 3053 Dauphine St., New Orleans, LA, followed by interment at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery No. 3, Piety St., New Orleans, LA. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Scott Funeral Home, Alvin, TX and burial to St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home.
