Lynn John "Skeeter" Meyers Sr.

Lynn John Meyers Sr. "Skeeter," age 75, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 3:15 AM. Son of the late James and Irene Meyers. Former husband of Mary "Germaine" Dufour Byers. Father of Gwen, Lynn Jr. (Charlotte), Diane (Keith) and Cherri (Oliver). Brother of the late Jack and James Meyers. Grandfather of Brandy (Jason), Derek, Curry, Nancy, Codi, Dalton, Brittany, Robert Jr. and the late Philip. Great grandfather of Madelynn, Caleb, Tayln, Leo, Nicholas and Luke. Lynn was a former body and fender repairman for Eugene LeCronge Company for 40 years. He was a native of New Orleans, LA, former resident of Violet, LA, and since Hurricane Katrina he has lived in Mansura, LA. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Rio Sol Nursing Home, Dr. Warren Plauche and All Saints Hospice for their kindness and care during their father's time of need. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA, on Friday, June 27, 2014, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
