Mr. Malvin "Gogaloo' Honore, age 73 years, was a retired Merchant Marine and Longshoreman Local 3000. He passed away on Wednesay, October 2, 2002 at St. Charles General Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will be held on Monday, October 7, 2002 - 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 3501 N. Miro St. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment Providence Park. A precious daughter, Gail Morrison; his beloved parents: Alcee and Ludia Honore; 4 sisters: Connie Blanco, Delores Caldwell, Helena Javery and Doris Mercadel; 4 brothers: August Hunter, Almo Rex Hunter, Kirnest Honore and Alvarez Honore predeced him in death. He leaves to cherish his many precious memories: 5 daughters: Diane Cado, Pamelia Linden, Karen Thornton, Monica Heno and Melaney Taylor; 3 sons: Kenneth Cado, Malvin Honore, Jr. and Brian Honore; son-in-law, Albert Heno; daughter-in-law, Audra Honore; his brother, Alcee Honore; his sister, Claudelle Bouligny; 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. UNITED FUNERAL SERVICES, INC. is in charge of arrangements.
