Marie Burger Obituary

BURGER Marie Louise Swear Burger passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the of age 94. She was the beloved wife of the late John August Burger, and she was born in and a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She is preceded in death by her parents Marie L. Hurley and Harry E. Swear, Sr. and her brother Harry E. Swear, Jr. She is survived by her son Glenn Burger and wife Connie, and grandchildren Brian Burger and Deanna Burger Carrell and husband Richard. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren Abbie, Ben and Emma Carrell, and by a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 12:00 Noon.
