Marie Aimee Quaid

QUAID Marie Aimee Quaid, affectionately nicknamed "Ti", died surrounded by the love of her family at the home of her mother earlier this week. She was 57 years old. For 45 years, Ti resided at Hammond State School, now Evergreen Life Services, where she received loving and specialized care from many devoted caregivers. She is survived by her mother, Aimee Hanemann, her siblings, Jimmy, Alice, Albert, and Mary Quaid, and her nieces and nephews. The family is deeply appreciative of her caregivers over the years, including Jena, Eli, LaDonna, Kim, Lucy, Nikita, and many others, as well as Hospice of Baton Rouge who made it possible to bring her home and who provided her with comfort during her last days. A memorial service was held at the chapel on the campus of Evergreen Life Services, Northlake. The family requests acceptance of the developmentally disabled in our own communities, neighborhoods, and lives and, in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to Evergreen Life Services, 2101 Highway 80, Haughton, LA 71037 or The Hospice of Baton Rouge.
