Marie was a most wonderful loving lady . I was her hairdresser for years . We were very close and shared lots when she came for her weekly appointment .I had a small beauty salon around the corner from her grocery store called the "THE LION's DEN" . We shared so much in all those years and till this day I truely miss Marie . She was a most loving n amazing woman . Hugs n love , Cindy Reiher

I was really saddened to hear this news. Miss Marie was always helpful and friendly to my family when we lived in Mandeville. I used to walk to Corner Pak. Prayers for her family.

Just heard of your loss, I am sorry to hear of Ms Marie passing, many do not know but she was my god-mother, so I knew her all my life, my mother worked for her at the store and I was always in and out of there all the time, baby-sitting the kids, etc. A very special lady, I know Mr. Jimmie was waiting with open arms to finally have his lady back with him. My prayers and thoughts go out to all of you Desiree, Blaine, Darryl and Bobo, and your families. Two special angels to watch over you, your parents were great and I know how proud they are of you. My love to you all. Mandeville's losing so many of the wonderful people that makes it such a wonderful place to live. Just a shame the younger generation will not have these wonderful people in their lives that we had.
