Mario Harris Obituary

Mario ""Fat"" Harris, Sr. transitioned from this life on January 15, 2022. He was born on December 6, 1969, to Shirleen Speed Anckle and John T. Harris. Mario was a graduate of John McDonogh High School and a proud Trojan. Mario was a faithful member of Violet New Birth Ministries. Mario was a dedicated warehouse supervisor and truck driver for several years. He was a loyal member of Sudan Social and Pleasure Club and Monogram Hunters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirleen Speed Anckle and John T. Harris; 1 brother, Marquette Harris and grandparents, Johnny and Madeline Speed. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Kimberly; 4 children, Brittany, Maya, Sabrina and Mario Jr.; his grandsons, Ethan and Zayden; 2 sisters, Vivian Harris and Deanna Speed; mother and father-in-law, David Sr. & Laura Clayton; 4 aunts, Leontine (Leroy) Brown, Lydia Tucker, Shelia (Gerald) Clayton, and Charlene (Albert) Duplessis; 1 uncle, Johnny Speed, Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
