My dear sister Krystal;
Sis Pre will always have a special place in my heart. She was like a grandmother to me. I enjoyed the conversations that we use to have about any and everything. I still think about her all the time and especially on holidays, thats when I use to make the potato salad for her. So in her memory I always make a small bowl and give it to one of my co-workers or church members as I did for her. I thank God for giving me the time that He did with her but she no longer has to deal with the "Katrina's" of this life anymore.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Mommie was a special figure in my life. She was always there for me if I needed her. She will be greatly missed.

It's hard to find the right words to describe the impact you've had on my life. I still reminisce on St. John stories that make me laugh and think of you. You never let me get away with anything and now I realize how blessed I was. You took the time to care when others didn't.

You made me feel like one of your own and I appreciate that. I miss you mommie.

When we lose someone we love
The loss seems too great to bear
God sends us friends to comfort us
To show that He deeply cares......

Kristal, I see so much of Mrs. Prevost in many things that you do and say, it's as she has left us tidbits of her along the way. I can still hear her saying, "Hey Little Mother", as my mother approached her in her loving and joking way. And how she sprinkled words of wisdom in a very special way. Two years you say have past, but it only seems like yesterday. Glad you're my friend, my sister in Christ, we will see her once again at the end of our christian fight.

One thing is for sure; you truly left behind something for us to remember you and memories that we will NEVER forget. And since you aren't here anymore I can understand and appreciate you as you were so much more. With Desean, Kristal, and Kira in the house "Deeda Boy" is always being brought up. In the few years that they were in your life you have left a long lasting impression on them. I love you for that and for loving them the way that you loved us. Miss you and love you.

Mama Prevost will be remembered for her "encouraging words and inspirational conversations". She was a woman of Strength, Valor, and Courage. She held up the "Blood Stained Manner" and reminded us of the "Walk of Christian Womanhood". I was most insprired by her demeanor, smile and her aura of excellence. She was not ashamed of the GOSPEL! She knew God's word, and knew if you knew the Word! Her passing was painful for all of us, but we know that she left a "blueprint" for our following.
I am a distance, but never distant!

I was very sad to hear of Ms. Marion's passing. I used to call her all the time and tell her I was Rosie O'Donnel, because everyone knew how much she did not like "Big head Rosie". I will miss days like that.
To Janice and the family, my prayers and thoughts go ut to you all. Though it's been 2 years, I know you all will forever miss Ms. Marion.

To my Dear Friend Kristal,

It is a wonderful thing that you're doing. I know that Sis. Prevost is smiling with great joy. She was a blessing to all who met her. I miss her. Just keep in mind that our loss is heaven's gain. You will always be in my prayers and thoughts. Keep the determination to see her on the other side.

I am only a phone call away.

Your Sister in Christ.

It has been 2 years since you have been gone and I miss you. All the times I use to call and get the answering machine saying ''Hello Helloooo Yes this is Marion" and before I knew it you were picking up the phone. I don't want to be selfish saying I wish you were still here, but I know you are in a better place...
I Love Ya Mommie...

Mommie,
It has been almost 2 years since you left me and it stil hurts. You always said that you would be going home soon. I never wanted to listen to you when you spoke like that, however you knew what you were talking about. It is not the same without you. I will never forget you and the values you instilled in me as a became a woman. I pray that I will see you again. I love and miss you dearly
