Marlene Mistrot Doizé

Marlene Mistrot Doizé entered into eternal rest on May 31, 2024 at the age of 79. Survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Doizé Jr., and her children Charles Doizé III (Pat), Craig Doizé (Renée), Chris Doizé (Monica) and her sister Janet Mistrot Deano. She was a devoted MiMi to her grandchildren, Craig John, Kyle, Austin, Grace and Gloria. She was predeceased by her parents, John Jack Mistrot and Helen Corne Mistrot. Marlene was a lifelong native of Chalmette, LA. She was a graduate of Holy Angels High School, Class of 62. She enjoyed working with children and volunteered at Our Lady of Prompt Succor School. She held a special devotion to St. Jude and prayed intensely for the many intentions of her loved ones and for the world. No one was a stranger to her she enjoyed living life to the fullest. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, June 19th, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church located at 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, LA 70043. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her name.
