Marty Rosen died peacefully at home on January 23. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Frieda and Irving Rosen. Always interested in art, he started his art education at the High School of Industrial Arts in Manhattan. He continued his art training at Cooper Union Evening Art School from September 1958 -May 1963, while working full-time at several large advertising agencies. His Career spanned 42 years. Marty was a dedicated wood sculptor, carving fine furniture and figure art. On his retirement, he and Sheila relocated from Bedford Hills, NY to Venice, Florida where he enjoyed working with the Circus Wood Carvers, creating carousel animals at the Ringling Circus Museum in Sarasota. Marty is survived by Sheila, his wife of 55 years, three sons, Neil (Valarie), Andrew (Todd), Eric (Carol), and four grandchildren, Sarah, Melissa, Philip and Gabriel, and his brother Benett (Tina). Toale Brothers Funeral Homes Ewing Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

My sincere condolences. I was notified of Marty's passing by his old partner at Grey Advertisng, Joel Tretin. I was an advertising manager at Panasonic and worked with Marty and Joel. Marty had a great influence on me, and I will always remember him with fondness.

Sheila,
