Mary Bodin

Mary "Mae" Faulstich Bodin. Wife of the late Raymond Bodin. Mother of Mary Trent (Bruce), Michelle Jones (Sam), the late Raymond "Charles" Bodin (Kathleen), and the late Christopher Bodin, MD (Kylan). Daughter of the late Mamie Balser Faulstich and Frank F. Faulstich. Grandmother of Giselle, Brett, Cory, Clay, Cass, Blake, Brennan, Brooks, Briley, and Braden. Great-grandmother of Shea and Maximus. She enjoyed the many journeys and pilgrimages taken some of which were to Bosnia, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Mexico and West Canada. Mae lived a long and happy life. Family gathered at her house year after year for holidays and other occasions. She was always present in times of trouble and times of triumph. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the loves of her life. Mae surrounded herself with angel sculptures in her home for decades, and is now amongst the angels in her heavenly home forever. In lieu of flowers, masses preferred. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1:30 pm in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., in Gretna, LA.
