It has been 6 years now my dear sister and I miss our telephone conversations. I am so glad we chatted 2 days before you left us. You were so happy and I could hear MB barking in the background. May you rest in peace and we will be together soon.

To Kevin Jiles, all family members and friends;
I offer my deepest condolences on the home going of your mother. It is true that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal. I know because I'm a living witness. Your mother was a blessing to all who came along her path. Ms. Mary had the kindest, most gentle spirit, and was honored to have spent the time we shared with her son, Chris at her home for a barbecue and parade. My daughter, Sadie Ragan, loved Ms.Mary, who was a true friend to her, and a second mom, too. Keeping all of family members in our prayers and heart, sending peace and comfort that only our Lord Jesus Christ supplies...Robin, Sadie's mother

When I first met Ms. Mary Braden, I was a little girl. My mom worked with her at st. Charles general hospital in uptown new Orleans. I remember visiting her home many times and watching her and her friends play cards. The best thing about ms. Mary was her gumbo. She cooked some fire gumbo. It was delicious. Along with many other dishes. To the family, may god give you peace and assurance in your time of need.

When you speak of her speak not with tears for thoughts of her should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you comfort her life was rich because of you.
Why is it that people come into our lives? When I met Mama Mary I was a little girl and her loving heart and friendship made my life more complete. I am a better person for it!
I will miss you more than words can say. You have been an important part of my life.
I am sorry that I hadn't got to tell you how much I loved you - it was difficult for me. Now that you are free to fly with the angels, I hope you will look back and know how important you are to me.
Your time was so brief it was our fortune to be so blessed.
What I feel right now is so hard to put into words.
If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
Love,
Tima

It is amazing that in a twinkling of an eye our loved ones are caught up into the arms of our Lord. I can only say that I have been privileged to have you as an big sister all these years. I know you and Percy lived up to what Mama and Auntie said, "take care of your baby sister." Now you all are enjoying each other and watching every step I take and yep, making sure your baby sister is ok. As you can see I am doing well and thanking God I had you in my life. I dreamed about you the other night and wow, you were happy, but still looking at me and saying, "is Vicky ok?" With that big smile I am sure our Lord convinced you that I am doing great. I love you and will embrace the time when you, Mama, Percy, Auntie and everyone else will help me to cross over into eternity. I love you Mary Louise and those were the last words we expressed on the phone Saturday night before you left. I know you are not sleeping but eagerly talking your head off with everyone in Heaven. Your children and all those friends that went before you must be excited. Tell them all hello, give hugs and kisses for me. Until I get another hug from you know that I am working to get my ticket to Heaven also, but in the meantime I am enjoying a life full of happiness and tranquility here on earth. I will see you at the cross road...Love ya, Vicky
