Even though we had not known "Sally" had passed on to Glory. I can remember, Jessee & Sally at Stones River
Baptist Church when Marcella & I came to Church there."Sally" was Gifted & able to talk to strangers & put them at ease. Jesse was a Deacon & a quiet man. I remember Sally came up to us & welcomed us to Stones River Baptist Church the first time we attended. I could tell that she Loved the Lord Jesus. I can remember the first & only time I was in her "Home" in Smyrna, was after Jessee had passed on. I remember, that she had one wall filled with snapshots of family & relatives & friends. I sure was impressed with the way she talked about each one. I never heard "Sally" say anything bad about anyone. She sure made a fine Deacon's wife to Brother Jesse. She is now in that Mansion that Jesus had prepared in Heaven just for "Sally."

I remember Sally Cox in so many ways: her beautiful voice in church, her love of family, her love of her southern roots, her hospitality ,and her wonderful spunky smile. Our families shared many times together starting when we lived next to each other at the old air base back in the sixties. I know she will be greatly missed by friends and family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I always think of Sally when I hear Victory in Jesus, and can remember seeing her leading the singing on it. She really got into it!

Sally was my neighbor from 1970 until she moved with her daughter Jan (and Jerry) to Murfreesboro a few years ago. She was a great and special lady. She will be missed by friends and family.
