Mary Venturella Graffagnini

GRAFFAGNINI Mary Venturella Graffagnini, 92, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:30AM. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans until 2005, when she moved to Thibodaux, LA. She is survived by her daughter, Jane G. Zeringue, and her husband, Dr. Guy Zeringue, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Gayle Graffagnini Griener; grandchildren, Guy Zeringue, III (Myra), Nicholas J. Zeringue, Nano Z. Gros (Kevin), Robert Favret, Jr. (Cammy), Megan F. Denkman (Mike), Todd Graffagnini (Holly), Kyle Graffagnini (Gigi), Keith Graffagnini, Jr. (Dana), Jon Graffagnini, David Griener, Jr. (Diane), Grayden Griener (Brandee). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas J. Graffagnini, her son Keith Graffagnini, Sr., her daughter, Karen G. Favret, son-in-law, Robert Favret, Sr., son-in-law, David Griener, Sr., her great grandchild, Maelan Graffagnini, and her parents, Vincent and Camile Serio Venturella. Mary was an extraordinary person in every way. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed. The family deeply appreciates the loving care and concern given by the administration and staff of St. Joseph Manor in Thibodaux, and her devoted caretakers. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM.
