Mary Hanson Obituary

HANSON Mary Allyn Benham Hanson passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the age of 69. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her life. She was the cherished mother of Jennifer St. Clair, Kristi Hanson, Jamie Hanson and Dana Hanson. Mother-in-law of William St. Clair, Jean McCoy, Kenny Schneider and Joe Sanders. Daughter of the late Russell and Catherine Benham. Sister of Barbara Tip-ton. Proud grandmother of Stacy St. Clair, Brian St. Clair, Tyler Hanson, Halie St. Clair, Madison St. Clair, Kennedy Schneider, Haley Sanders and Kayla Sanders. Great-grandmother of Devin St. Clair. Mary is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal mother, daughter, grandmother and sister, who found peace in her garden, loved trips to the casino with her friends and treasured her family. She will be deeply missed by us all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00PM. A second visitation will take place at Wood Funeral Home, 414 N. Main St., Bogata, TX on Tuesday, July 14th from 1:00PM - 2:00PM, followed by her burial in Bogata Cemetery. To view and sign the Family Guestbook, please visit www.stbernardmemorial.com.
