ENFIELD, CT - Mary Theresa (Bielecki) Krawiec, 68, of Enfield, loving wife of Edward J. Krawiec, died Tuesday (Dec. 17) at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Ludlow, MA, she had been a resident of the Enfield community for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Adalbert's Church. Mary owned and operated Mary K's Hobby Ceramics for over 30 years and was also recently employed in the offices of Southern Auto in East Windsor. Among her pastimes were crocheting, especially blankets and afghans, and bowling, having participated in the Mixed Leagues at the former Enfield Bowling Lanes for several years. She also enjoyed cooking and baking traditional Polish dishes for the holidays. Mary's favorite pastime, however, was being the doting grandmother to her four grandchildren, Colin and William Whitney of Norfolk, MA and Megan and Nicole Gallagher of Southwick. In addition to Edward, her devoted husband of 44 years, and her four grandchildren, Mary is survived by two beloved daughters: Ann-Marie Whitney and her husband, Wallace, of Norfolk, MA and Julie Mahr and her husband, Joseph, of Southwick, MA; four brothers: Eugene R. Gale of Columbia, Charles Gale of Port Orange, FL, Michael Gale of Springfield, and Myron Gale of Manchester; two sisters: Joan Watz of Westerly, RI and Catherine Gale of Southington; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Olga and Eugene Gale, Sr. and her brother, Joseph Bielecki. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Adalbert's Church. Burial will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery.
