Mary Catherine McLoughlin McGinn passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 7:15 A.M. in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in New Orleans, LA August 23, 1921. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Leonhard McGinn. Mother of Joseph Leonhard McGinn, Jr. (spouse/Elaine Tillinghast), Melissa McGinn Lacroix (spouse/ Paul George Lacroix, III), James Patrick McGinn (spouse/Linda Murphy-Knoll) and the late John Timothy McGinn. Grandmother of Joseph Leonhard McGinn III, John Andrew McGinn, Megan Lacroix Post, Paul George Lacroix IV, Carrie Connell Lacroix, James Patrick McGinn, Jr. and Sara Elaine McGinn. Great-grandmother of Joseph Leonhard McGinn IV, Shane Patrick McGinn and Jordan Renee McGinn. Sister of Margaret M. Hannah and the late James McLoughlin, Jr. Mrs. McGinn attended the Academy of the Sacred Heart and Soule Business College. She was a former member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans (in Metairie Cemetery) on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 A.M until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Academy of the Sacred Heart, Capital Campaign Fund for Mater Campus, 4521 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, LA 70115 or St. Michael's Special School preferred.
