Matthew Lawrence Buchert

Matthew Lawrence Buchert, 38, died May 9, 2015. He was born in Houma, LA, July 16, 1976. The Beloved son of Mary Jane Lawrence Lane and Thomas Wayne Buchert. Grandson of the late Dorothy Moore Lawrence Hebert, Lorraine Singer Buchert and the late Cyril H. Buchert, Sr. He is survived by his parents, Mary Jane Lane of New Orleans and Thomas Wayne Buchert of Houma, LA; his sister Lauren Taylor Lane of Washington D.C.; his brothers Lee Michael Eschete of Covington, LA, Keith Wayne Buchert of Arizona and Kevin Thomas Buchert of Arizona. Throughout his life, Matt exuded an artistic sense of style, was an industrious worker, loved the beauty and majesty of nature, enjoyed travel and adventure, was an avid reader, collector, and passionate learner. He made friends easily, was loyal, had a great sense of humor and possessed an astute gift for reasoning among many other gifts too numerous to mention.
