Maxine Meade Obituary

Maxine Lamouranne Meade passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015. She was 91, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Metairie. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Owen Meade, Sr. Mother of Robert (Donna), Gayle (Johnny) Meade and the late Joseph O. Meade, Jr. Grandmother of Gary, Joel, Lisa and Rick Meade and Robyn Bianchini. Great grandmother of Angelle Bordelon, Ryan Meade, Reese Bianchini, Cooper and Brady Meibaum. Also survived by nieces, Suzy Kreihs, Gisele Cottingham and Jennifer Meibaum; nephews, John and David Lamouranne, Michael Guidry and James Kreihs; and her care giver Barbara Robert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lena Morgavi Lamouranne; siblings, John Lamouranne and Rosalie Landry; and cousin, John Kippers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner, on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
