Mechell Barton Pepiton

Funeral Services for Mechell Barton Pepiton, age 52, of Barataria, LA, who passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018, will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel, 401 West Canal Street, Picayune, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Emitt and Fern Robbins, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Barton. A native of Franklin Parish, LA, she graduated at Fort Necessity High School, and attended Northwestern College and transferred to LSU, getting her Associates Degree for a LPN. Mechell was a LPN for 26 years. She was a loving daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law; and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Linda Robbins Roe and Plez W. Roe; her husband, Kerry J. Najolia; her daughter, Kayleigh E. (Siobhan) Dempsey; her son, Kaleb I. Pepiton; her brother, Ronnie (Liz) Barton; mother-in-law, Flo Najolia; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends.
