Mama Sandy and Michael - I love you more than you can know. Even though everyone now knows her as Melissa, she will always be my Mitsy, the sudo-sister from the strange and wonderful family we were forced to create. I will always have a special place in my soul for ALL of you. I am so sorry you have to know this pain. She is with her baby boy now, he and Rhonda are taking her home.

TO THE FAMILY,
I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS OF MELISSA. LAST TIME I SPOKE WITH HER, WE SPOKE FOR A LONG TIME ABOUT THE PASSING OF PEE WEE. SHE SAID IT WAS SOMETHING SHE COULDNT GET OVER. I SAW THE PAIN IN HER EYES AND VOICE. NOW SHE CAN BE AT REST WITH PEE WEE. I HOPE SHE HAS NOW FOUD THE PEACE SHE WAS LOOKING FOR.. MELISSA YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED !!

To Victor, Sandy, Michael, Phil and all the other family members and friends - I cannot begin to express the sadness and loss I feel over Melissa's passing. I have considered her my step-daughter since she was 14 years old. For the past two years, I have missed her smile and her laugh and was patiently waiting to see and hear them again. Knowing I'll never experience them again is heartbreaking.
I can only imagine your pain. My thoughts and prayers are with Melissa and you all. Some comfort can be found in knowing that Melissa is with Derek, Rhonda and Fanny in a happy, peaceful and pain-free place. Please know that I am always here to do anything I can for any of you.
