David DarDar Obituary
Beloved husband of Brenda Jeanfreau DarDar for 50 years. Father of David DarDar, Jr. (Nicole), Jared DarDar, Sr. (Mindy) and the late Tiffany Lynn DarDar. Grandfather of Sadie Pumilia (Nicholas), Bailey DarDar, Ella DarDar, Kristen LeJeune (Cameron), Jared DarDar, Jr. and Jacob DarDar. Great grandfather of Sawyer, Hudson, and Ellis LeJeune. Preceded in death by his parents Harris and Lodia DarDar and in-laws Roy and Mary Jeanfreau. Brother of Lovency Billiot (Kathleen), Daniel DarDar (Patricia), Jimmy DarDar (Josie), Harris DarDar, Jr. (Doris), Mary Ann Chaisson (Robert), Janet Barron (the late Benton), and the late Roland DarDar (the late Julie). Brother-in-law of Ricky Jeanfreau and Stacie Alfonso (Tracy). Godfather of Timothy DarDar. David is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his fur baby, Daisy.
Mr. DarDar was a member and past master of the Dominique You Lodge #468. David was also a member of the Ironworkers Local 58 and the Boilermakers Local 37.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service to be held at Poydras Baptist Church, 8213 Saro Lane, St. Bernard, LA, on Friday, January 30, 2026. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A prayer service will be take place at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
