STUART Michael Brent Stuart "DJ Dirty Boy Mike" entered into eternal rest at University Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the age of 34. He was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Hammond, LA for the past two years. He was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and attended Tulane University where he studied computer science. He served as a Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm. "DJ Dirty Boy Mike" was a well-known DJ of Escapades Nightclub. He was also affiliated with Kenny's Key West and various places around the world. He was employed by Home Audio and Video Designs and was formerly employed by Slidell Lincoln Mercury Ford. Mike leaves behind his loving fiancée of tweleve years, Jeannette Oriano Voiron, who is four months pregnant with their first child; his father, Charles Michael Stuart; his stepmother, Laurie Brunet Stuart; his stepfather, Robert Banks; his stepdaughter, Amanda Marie Voiron; four stepsisters, Kimberly Banks Fields, Bobbie Gail Banks, Brittney Brunet, Bridgett Brunet; a stepbrother, Bradley Brunet and his grandparents, Juanita Mims and Jonnie Pauline Stuart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Mims Banks; his grandparents, TP Mims and Byron Paul Stuart and his step grandparents, Calvin and Ollie Banks. Relatives and friends of the family are invited are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at GARDEN OF MEMORIES FUNERAL HOME, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private in Garden of Memories Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Mike's memory at any Whitney Bank branch in order to assist with funeral expenses and for the benefit of his unborn child.
