I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the children of Vera and Mertz upon the sudden loss of your brother, Michael. Though many of the Rousseau family members do not see each other often, we remain a very close family with much faith. My prayers are with all of you.

My sincere condolences to Mike's family.
I have known Mike since the early 90's when our mutual friend Karl Marrero introduced us before an LSU-Tulane game.
Coincidentally Karl and I recently visited Mike earlier this year at his beach house.
I enjoyed Mike's wit and sense of humor and admired his strong convictions.
Prayers to the family,
Bill

My heart is filled with sadness hearing the news of Mike's death. Mike was kind, compassionate, and a loyal friend to me and my family since our LSU days. My husband, Steve, was Mike's roommate in the 70's and Mike stood in our wedding. I will miss Mike's wisdom and love, but know he is united with his Mom, Dad, and Brit, the loves of his life.
