Mildred Moustier "Mimi" Buras

Mildred (Mimi) Moustier Buras, age 74 years old was born and raised in New Orleans. Mimi passed away on August 7, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was known for her sweet and loving spirit and will forever be missed. She loved her family and caring for her pets and gardening. She was a beautiful and caring mother and friend to all who knew her. She was the daughter of the late Richard J. Moustier and Betty Jane Moustier. Sister of the late Camille Moustier and Jules Moustier. She was also proceeded in death by her late husband Harold Buras and son Christian Pastor. Mimi is survived by her loving partner Ryan Uhlich, her Daughter April Spears (Henry) and grandchildren, Alexis, Alex (Chloe), Ayden and Gabrielle Spears, Sebastian and Kashmena Pastor, great-grandchild Abraxas Pastor along with her brother Richard Mustier and many nieces and nephews. Mimi was a long time Friend of Bill W with many years of abstinence and a long history of service to others. Relatives and friends are invited to attend "A Celebration of Life Service" at Unity of Metairie, 3303 Richland Ave. #2a, Metairie, LA 70002 on August 28th at 7:00 pm.
