Milton P. Maillho Sr.

MAILLHO Milton P. Maillho, Sr., "Sailor Rags", 88, crossed over to his eternal home on Friday, January 24, 2014. Milton joined the Seafares International Union in 1943. He was a Veteran having served in World War II. He later worked as "Water Boy" for the I.L.A., Local 1802. For 22 years, Milton sailed the seas and had many friends. He cooked and fed many aboard always telling his many tales. Milton bravely endured 17 years of illness. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Milton P. Maillho, Jr., parents, Georgette Brown and Andrew Maillho, brother, Andre' J. Maillho. He is survived by his loving, caring wife of 61 years, Mathilda Vignes Maillho, son, Michael Maillho, Sr., daughter, Elizabeth Buoch & husband, Rainy, beloved sister, Evelyn Damare', 5 grandchildren, Amanda Stoltz & Chris, Christopher Coffelt & Amanda, Kelly Sullivan & Sean, Michael Maillho, Jr. & Katie, Matthew Coffelt & Laura and 8 great-grandchildren, Trey Maillho, James Sullivan, Ashton Coffelt, Amelia Brush, Stefan Stoltz, Madison Stoltz, Cooper Coffelt, Tillie Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved. The visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS with prayer service at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
