Morris "Pete" James

Morris 'Pete' James, a retired laborer for Orleans Material, died Wednesday, November 27, 2002 of natural causes at Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital. He was 82 years old. Mr. James was a native of Vacherie, LA. and a resident of New Orleans, LA. for the past 60 years. Husband of the late Audrey Williams James. Son of the late Florastyle and Forence D. James. Father of Helene Chapital. Brother of Louvenia Coffy. Grandfather of two and great grandfather of six. Mr. James was preceded in death by eight brothers and two grandchildren. Mr. James also leaves a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral services on Friday, December 6, 2002 at 11:00 am. at Bethany United Methodist Church, 4533 Mendez St., New Orleans, LA.
