Morris was a fun and creative guy. I remember he even sold a custom font he created to Autodesk. He was always helpful at conventions and meetings. He will be terribly missed!

I met Morris "Marty" Sharp through a mutual friend in 1984. Back then we were attending Vernon C. Haynes Junior High. We instantly became friends. We then attended Riverdale High School and graduated together in 1987. After graduation, we both attended Jefferson Vo Tech. Marty was an avid Sci-fi fan. He loved Sci-fi movies and collecting anything Sci-fi. He also loved eating out especially eating at the buffets. We spent many times hanging out watching TV, going to the movies, as well as going out to eat. He was a great listener. Marty was a very good person. He never smoked, drank alcohol or did anything bad. Throughout the years we remained good friends. He was like a brother to me. His family considered me as one of their own. I was blessed to know Mr. Royal Sharp, Ms. Norma Sharp, Marty, Valerie and Melanie. I was there during the good times and the bad. I tried to be there for Marty. His passing came as a great shock to all of us. It's hard to believe that he has passed. He will be missed deeply. I would like to think of Marty now in the spiritual world as young, healthy and being at peace with his parents. The Sharp family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
With Deepest Sympathy,
